Thomas Oheneba Boakye Urges NPP-UK Members to Pay Dues Ahead of Voting Deadline

Aspiring NPP-UK Branch Organiser, Thomas Oheneba Boakye, has called on members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the United Kingdom to regularise their dues payments before the April 30, 2026 deadline or risk losing their voting rights in the party’s upcoming internal elections.

In a statement, Mr. Boakye warned that a significant number of members could inadvertently disenfranchise themselves if they fail to meet the deadline, stressing the importance of full participation in the electoral process.

He noted that the internal elections are critical to shaping the future direction of the NPP-UK Branch and positioning it effectively ahead of the 2028 general elections in Ghana.

“This is a humble appeal to every member across all Chapters—please pay your dues and protect your right to vote. Do not wait until it is too late,” he said.

Mr. Boakye emphasised that active party membership extends beyond attending meetings and events, highlighting the need for financial commitment to sustain branch activities and operations.

“A stronger Branch requires active members who are committed not only in words but also in action. Paying your dues keeps you eligible, keeps you involved, and keeps your voice relevant in our internal democratic process,” he added.

He further urged Chapter executives to intensify awareness campaigns to ensure that all members are informed about the deadline and comply in time.

As the Branch prepares for its internal elections, Mr. Boakye called for unity, responsibility, and active participation among members to strengthen the party’s structures.
