A key grassroots mobiliser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the United Kingdom, known as Oheneba, has been praised for his unwavering dedication to supporting party members and strengthening the party’s activities abroad.
Former Ashanti Regional Youth Organiser, Dennis Kwakwa, and party member Kwame Adinkrah recently witnessed first-hand the organisational role Oheneba continues to play in the NPP UK Branch, particularly in welcoming and assisting members arriving from Ghana.
According to party insiders, Oheneba has built a reputation for making himself available at all hours to receive visiting NPP members at the airport, transport them across London and surrounding areas, and ensure they are able to attend meetings and connect with the wider NPP family in the UK.
His commitment, they say, reflects the essence of grassroots mobilisation — a form of quiet, behind-the-scenes service that keeps the party’s network active and united within the diaspora.
Observers within the NPP UK Branch note that Oheneba often steps in without being called upon, connecting members, providing logistical support and ensuring visiting party officials and members feel at home while participating in party engagements.
Those close to him also highlight the role of his family in supporting the effort. His wife, a mother of six, is said to play a key role in welcoming visiting party members into their home, creating an environment that allows Oheneba to continue his organisational work.
While much of the work remains unseen by the public, members of the NPP community in the UK say Oheneba’s dedication has made him a dependable figure within the party’s diaspora structure.
Party supporters describe him as a committed grassroots organiser and a pillar of the NPP family in the United Kingdom whose contributions continue to strengthen the party’s presence abroad.
