Lawyer Charles (Oboanipa) Asmah, incoming 1st Vice Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) UK, has paid tribute to the invaluable contributions of women on the occasion of International Women’s Day.
In a heartfelt message, Mr. Asmah acknowledged the roles of grandmothers, mothers, wives, aunts, sisters, nieces, and daughters, emphasizing the impact of their support at home, in politics, and within the community.
“Today we pause to reflect and acknowledge the wonderful contributions of our grandmothers, mothers, wives, aunts, sisters, nieces and daughters. Your support at home, in politics and in the community has shaped us into responsible members of society,” he said.
He further prayed for divine blessings on all women, highlighting the often-unseen toil and dedication that women provide in every sphere of life.
“May God bless the toil of every woman. Happy International Women’s Day,” he added.
