An aspiring First Vice Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) UK branch, Dr Asiedu Mensah, has unveiled a four-point agenda aimed at strengthening the party and expanding opportunities for its members across the United Kingdom.
Speaking during his campaign, Dr. Mensah emphasised the importance of youth empowerment, announcing plans to establish an Intellectual Education Hub to equip young people with relevant, employable skills.
“I will introduce an Intellectual Education Hub to create jobs for many students across the United Kingdom,” he said. “This initiative will provide access for every individual—especially the youth—to secure employment opportunities and develop their skills.”
He also outlined measures to enhance welfare within the party, stressing the need for stronger support systems for members.
“We will establish and strengthen welfare structures within the party. This will include key initiatives such as free legal consultations and other support systems to improve the wellbeing of our members,” he stated.
Addressing the financial sustainability of the branch, Dr Mensah underscored the need to build a solid and reliable financial base to support party activities and long-term ambitions.
“Financial growth of the branch is critical. We must build a strong and sustainable financial foundation to support our activities and future aspirations,” he noted.
On unity and internal cohesion, he highlighted ethical leadership as a key principle for fostering inclusivity within the party.
“Ethical politics will help unite every member of the party, irrespective of educational background or travel differences. We must build a united front,” he added.
Dr Mensah concluded by appealing to delegates to support his candidacy in the upcoming election.
“I humbly appeal to delegates to vote for me as First Vice Chairman so that together we can build a stronger and more inclusive NPP UK branch,” he said.
