The USA Branch of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has made a financial donation to the Patriotic Institute to support the Institute’s nationwide training and capacity-building programmes for 2026.
The donation was presented on Thursday, February 5, 2026, during a brief ceremony held at the NPP Party Headquarters in Accra. The contribution forms part of a pledge made by the USA Branch during the Institute’s engagement with NPP External Branches on February 2, 2026.

Chairperson of the NPP USA Branch, Obama Yaa Frimpong, led the delegation that committed to supporting the Institute’s efforts to strengthen the party’s organisational and intellectual development.
The General Secretary of the NPP received the donation on behalf of the Patriotic Institute and commended the USA Branch for its continued commitment to building the party’s capacity at all levels. He noted that the contribution demonstrates the important role the diaspora continues to play in supporting the party’s growth and development.

Several key party officials and stakeholders attended the ceremony, including Henry Nana Boakye, popularly known as Nana B; Kwame Kyeretwie-Ampnasah, Director of External Affairs; Acting Director of the Patriotic Institute, Dr. Antoinette Tsiboe-Darko; Dr. Jemima Nunoo; Mr. Stephen Forson; Kwabena Frimpong; Jay Hyde; Hajia Rabi Salifu; and Sandra Sarkodee-Adoo.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Tsiboe-Darko expressed appreciation to the USA Branch for fulfilling its pledge. She stated that the donation would significantly support the Institute’s programmes, particularly in the areas of training, digital skills development, and strategic capacity building for party members across the country.

She further emphasised the Institute’s commitment to strengthening collaboration with members of the diaspora to enhance the party’s knowledge base and leadership development initiatives.
The Patriotic Institute serves as the party’s research and training hub, focusing on leadership development, policy research, and strategic planning. Officials say the latest support from the USA Branch marks another step toward expanding the Institute’s impact and strengthening party structures nationwide.
