The Office of the First Lady has expressed relief following the safe recovery of the baby who was stolen from the Mamprobi Polyclinic and successfully reunited with her biological mother and family.

Her Excellency, the First Lady, commended the Ghana Police Service for their swift and professional response, which led to the arrest of the suspect and the safe return of the child.

While acknowledging the emotional and psychological challenges faced by women and families struggling with conception, the First Lady emphasized that desperation must never result in such unconscionable acts.

She further called on medical facilities and maternity homes across the country to strengthen security protocols to ensure the safety of newborns and their mothers while in their care. “The safety and protection of every mother and child must remain paramount at all times,” the statement stressed.
