Kojo Amoako-Wiredu, a candidate seeking the position of Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) UK Branch, has unveiled a strategic three-point vision aimed at enhancing party operations and fostering greater engagement among members, should he be elected.
Reflecting on his motivation, Amoako-Wiredu expressed unwavering confidence in his capacity to serve effectively, drawing on his extensive experience and long-standing dedication to the party.
“Considering my track record, I am confident in my ability to excel in this role. I have dedicated many years to serving the party, and I believe that if granted this opportunity, I will not only perform well but surpass expectations,” he asserted.
He outlined that his vision revolves around digitalisation, mentorship and training, and the establishment of a policy hub, each designed to strengthen the branch’s functionality and inclusivity.
According to Amoako-Wiredu, his first priority will be the digitalisation of the branch’s platforms to ensure seamless communication and coordination among members.
“I am committed to ensuring that all our platforms are comprehensively digitalised, thereby allowing every member seamless access for communication, mobilisation, and the execution of all party activities,” he explained.
The second pillar of his agenda focuses on mentorship and training, particularly for young party members.
“I will prioritise mentorship and training for members, particularly young people who are eager to develop their skills, so they can effectively deploy their knowledge and expertise toward securing victory for the NPP in the 2028 general elections,” he said.
Amoako-Wiredu further highlighted the importance of establishing a policy hub to promote member participation in shaping party policies.
“I intend to create and sustain a policy hub where members can exchange ideas and meaningfully contribute to the party’s policy direction, ensuring greater coordination and efficiency in our activities,” he added.
He concluded by emphasising that his extensive service in multiple capacities within the party has equipped him to excel as Branch Secretary.
