The Chairman of the Campaign Communications of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia Nana Akomea has rubbished the attacks by Kennedy Agyepong on their candidate Bawumia as baseless, unwarranted and unformed.
“The Bawumia Campaign has noted, with great concern, a recent video message by Hon. Kennedy Agyepong, a fellow contender in the upcoming NPP Presidential Primaries.
In the video, Hon. Kennedy is seen fasely accusing Dr. Bawumia of making remarks regarding the health status of Mr. Albert Adu Boahen and so called decision not to participate in the 1996 NPP primaries”.
The statement issued by Chairman further stated that “Hon. Kennedy Agyepong unfairly branded Dr. Bawumia is a liar who is unfit for leadership”.
The Bawumia Campaign Team calls on Hon. Kennedy Agyepong to as a matter of urgency apologise to Dr. Bawumia for the false statement he made against him.
“We urge Hon Kennedy Agyepong to urgently apologise to Dr. Bawumia for the false statement he has made about him.”
